Pizza analogy...

So, here starts my carefree spirit of blogging. Based on my last post, I am now throwing caution and care to the wind and posting about whatever I want, not caring if it sucks. I guess it's like basketball ... the more you shoot, the more you'll make. So, I am taking more shots, bound to get a good post in sometime.

OK, so the one thing I have never really posted on here is girls; I know most of you are shocked that I never have because of how much I talk about them in person. That all will change here. I won't specifically name names, and if I do, they are bound to be fake, but who knows.

I am sure this has happened to most people, not necessarily with pizza, but follow me. Remember back to that day you were eating pizza, and it was one of the best pizzas you have ever had. The first slice was great. The second was amazing, so you are assured the third will prove exponentially better. All the time you are savoring the third piece it is just as good as you imagined. However, you finish the third piece of pizza and as you are sitting there, you start feeling a little funny. Maybe you are sick; maybe not, but you soon realize you ate just one too many pieces. If you had just stopped after two, you would be happy, but nope, you ate the third piece. What can you do about it now? Nothing. You just stand there, wading in the pool called Regret. You know that feeling? Ok, now that's how I felt the other day.

As most men (and even women know), dealing with females is a delicate operation. Here's the story: There is a girl that has caught my attention. When this happens, I know you are not suppose to run after the girl (i.e. eat the whole pizza at once); this scares the girl. However, there are certain rules/guidelines that must be followed to continue in a successful pre-dating relationship. You take a step forward (ie initiate conversation), then you wait for her to take a step forward (ie initiate conversation with you, or invite you out with her and friends). Then you take a step forward and so the game goes. There are sometimes when you can get away with taking TWO steps before she steps. This is even sometimes what girls want or expect. However, my "rule" is to stop at two. If she doesn't step towards me after I step twice, that's a clear sign she's not interested. Well, last week I took the third step, and it feels a lot like eating that third piece of pizza. Something you regret, but can't take back. When this happens, I have found it best to avoid "pizza" for awhile.
